MD Glance

A read-only Markdown viewer for Windows, built for reading rather than editing — and it works completely offline.

Open a single .md file or a whole folder and read it the way it was meant to look: clean typography, syntax-highlighted code, tables, callouts and task lists — and, in high-fidelity mode, typeset math with KaTeX and live diagrams with Mermaid.

Point it at a folder of Markdown and it becomes a browsable mini-site: a README-first file list, full-text search across names and content, and relative links you can follow in-app. Keep editing in your own editor and MD Glance live-reloads the moment you save — without losing your place. It's woven into Windows, too: preview .md files right in File Explorer's Preview pane, see Markdown thumbnails, and set it as your default viewer.
